Has Word Of The Streisand Effect Not Reached The White House?

The Streisand effect is the phenomenon whereby an attempt to hide or remove a piece of information has the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, usually facilitated by the Internet.

…It is named after American entertainer Barbra Streisand, whose attempt in 2003 to suppress photographs of her residence inadvertently generated further publicity.

There was a photo of Obama apparently skeet shooting — a photo which the White House forbade messing with:

The photograph may not be manipulated in any way…

Predictably, for anyone who knows of The Streisand Effect, there probably has yet to be a photo of Obama that has been so messed with.
